Dr. Ying (Fiona) Du teaches Mandarin and Math in 2nd grade for East Point Academy.  She is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a Ph.D. in Foreign Language Education and a M.A. in English Language and Literature.  Her Bachelor’s degree was earned at Nanjing University, China.  She is a US Citizen and has lived in the in the USA for more than 20 years.  Prior to joining East Point, Dr. Du worked for the University of South Carolina and George Mason teaching Mandarin.   She has also taught elementary students at Hope Chinese Sunday School, VA and Sidwell Friends School, Washington, DC.
